Live music & variety acts
Gypsy jazz: LES Hot Club
LES Hot Club plays hot, energetic, passionate gypsy swing in the tradition of legendary gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli. Featuring veteran gypsy swing musicians, the band really knows how to bring the swing. Expect to hear some hot jazz standards from the 1930's & 40's as well as some ballads, waltzes and bossas.
Risqué burlesque: Beelzebabe
Beelzebabe is one quarter of The Rhinestone Follies, NYC's premiere classic burlesque troupe. She a diminutive, devilish delight who brings just a touch of darkness to each of her opulent acts. A talented self taught costumer, she takes her inspiration from the late 1950's and early 1960's over the top glamour.
Gender-bending burlesque: LeRoi Prince

The Love Show gets the sexy goin' with their tightly choreographed and costumed numbers, theatrical appeal and gorgeous girls and boys. A little cabaret, a little ballet and a whole lotta rock and roll, The Love Show has entertained all audiences from the glitzy nightclub life to the gritty downtown theater. Classically trained dancers and detailed choreography tell a story with every number. The Love Show has worked for such clients as Vogue Magazine, Courvoisier, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Cliquot and Cointreau liqueur, and rocked stages ranging from CBGB's Gallery to The New York Burlesque Festival.
"Roguishly flirtatious" - The New York Times. "Naughty & nice" - The New York Post. "The Love Show does the best burlesque group numbers I've ever seen" - Monty Leman, Burlesque Photographer.
Hosted by: Eric Walton
He eats fire for breakfast and razor-blades for lunch. He reads Aristotle and he reads minds. A nimble-fingered trickster and a silver-tongued poet, the press have called him, "The King of The Underworld" (Three Weeks), "What the Devil would be like if he had his own night-club act" (NYTheatre.com), and, "[An] erudite magician and rabble-rouser" (The New York Times).
"Walton is a very entertaining con-man [and] a skilled sleight of hand artist - his routines draw bedazzlement from seemingly ordinary decks of playing cards." - TimeouNY. "With his top-notch vocabulary and gentlemanly poise, Walton quickly establishes himself as the sharpest knife in the drawer. [His] wizardry will leave you speechless and and perhaps just a little freaked out." - Gothamist.com
Live ink portraits: Yao Xiao
Fascinated by the energy and creativity bursting from partying crowds, Yao Xiao finds herself drawing in costumes at all sorts of exotic underground gatherings. Yao has sketched at Dances of Vice, Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art school, The Mermaid Parade, Pillow Fight NYC and Shanghai Mermaid. Her inspirations are among Toulouce-Lautrec and Al Hirschfeld: the observing artist in the show room. The process of her drawing becomes part of the show: people watch the act unfolding on her page as it unfolds on the stage. Originally from China, previously residing in Seattle, Chicago and Memphis, the 21-year-old artist is currently attending the School of Visual Arts for illustration.
