If you've always wanted to check out our signature one-of-a-kind party in a real Russian Banya (or have been a long-standing fan), this Friday is your last chance for at least a few months. We're taking a break until fall after this one. Lounging on the sprawling roof deck with drink in hand, wearing nearly nothing while your steamed-pink skin is cooling off in the breeze, is just the thing for a New York summer. And we can't gush enough about the delicious food...yum.

Two more June party reminders:
- Next two "Firefly" episodes are scheduled for next Thursday, June 25. We're once again selecting the location based on RSVPs, so please submit yours ASAP
- Silent Disco is back! This is one of those super-special parties we wish we could do more often. Imagine a huge Brooklyn waterfront backyard, with sparkly xmas lights in the tree canopy, fire pits to toast marshmallows + pop corn, and all this with the perfect dance party happening in your headphones via pirate radio transmission. It's your choice to rock out or chill out.
And, for those of you who've missed Swing House...Brace yourselves. While we aren't yet able to bring back SH itself, we are plotting something even *more* fancy, fun, unique, and glamorous. Save the date: Friday, July 17, for a one-of-a-kind party in a preserved members-only Victorian mansion.

Summer-long screenings of Joss Whedon's Firefly

A rooftop screening of Joss Whedon’s (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dollhouse) short-lived but much-loved space-western series "Firefly." If you don't know the show, it's a great opportunity to get hooked on gun-slinging Chinese-cursing smart-ass space rebels who aim to misbehave. And if you are already a fan, it's a rare chance to see it on a big screen.
Two episodes shown every other Thursday until Sep 3, 8pm-12am, on a private rooftop (moves indoors in case of rain). $10 sugg donation, snacks + drinks also by donation or BYO to add to the table. No RSVP needed. Invite your friends, but please be discreet coming and going, as this is a private space.
This week: "The Train Job" (The crew of Serenity takes on a train heist commissioned by a crime lord. They steal the goods, only to find it is medicine that is desperately needed by the town) & "Bushwhacked" (Serenity is pulled in by an Alliance cruiser while investigating a spaceship that was attacked by Reavers. Simon and River must hide to prevent capture, while something is wrong with the lone survivor of the attacked spaceship.)

BKLYN Yard is a sweet outdoor spot in Carroll Gardens, with waterfront stage, xmas-light-sprinkled tree canopy, picnic tables and fire pits: the half-a-city-block-sized backyard you always wish you had. Bring marshmallows to toast & corn to pop in the fire! Don't forget your radio headphones...but since we know you will, we'll have some to rent ($5) or buy ($10), first come first served.
