Online real estate is so valuable that you should use every bit of it to your advantage. What says more about you: "Hi, my name is Karen," or "Hi, I'm an avid rock climber?" Frankly, we always recommend maintaining anonymity until you're ready to reveal more about yourself. Until then, your nickname not only tells something about you, but makes a great conversation starter.
Which catches your eye: "Julie453" or "RocketScientist"? Everybody and their mother is going to have "gypsy_eyes." How about "bedouin_eys" instead? How many "guy_in_nyc"s does it take to equal one "righteous_boy"?
